The Broken Circle Breakdown

This film takes place in Belgium. The film can easily win an Oscar for many things including the acting of Veerle Baetens, who is every man's dream. She's intelligent, witty, talented, is a singer, and very beautiful. The Belgian band who plays American Bluegrass music is amazing, and they sing the American words just as well with these songs as Americans do, and I'm a musician and a perfectionist. Without telling you the whole story, this is one of the best films—without being a major ...

The Butterfly Tree

I had hoped this film was made in 2018, because it deserves an Academy Award in several categories. It is a magical film, a love story. Evelyn (played by Melissa George) was enchanting as an ex-burlesque girl who has a mystical home filled with art, crystals, and unique clothing. A father and son fall in love with her and the mystery ensues. I fell in love with her too. A must-see for lovers of all kinds. I'd like to see more work by Director Priscilla Cameron.

Viggo Mortensen plays Ben, the father of six children, who is a rugged outdoorsman and anti-system, super smart individualist who home-schools his children with his wife in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. His wife's father, played by Frank Langella, is wealthy and disagrees with Ben's raising of the children and actually tries to take the children from him when Ben's wife dies, at a very young age, from a disease. The family is not vegetarian, and they do kill their own meat to ...

Changeling

Drama
Starring Angelina Jolie, now you know why I picked her as one of my favorite actresses. She also did a great job in Girl, Interrupted, but she is a mighty presence on film and anything she does. In Changeling she plays a mother who lost her son to a kidnapper and serial killer in 1930's Los Angeles. She is put through hell by the corrupt L.A. police department. It's hard to believe what innocent people have to go through sometimes by evil and unscrupulous people. Angelina takes ...

An eccentric 90-year-old Jewish actor, played by Peter Falk, who lives in Manhattan interacts with his 3 grown children---2 sons and a daughter---because he wishes to commit suicide, even though he is loved and enjoys life tremendously. This film is hilarious, with quick wit, New York humor and dialogue, and has many emotional moments. Don't miss it!

Chef

The chef, played by Jon Favreau, was a lovable character and so were most of the people in the film, except for Dustin Hoffman, who played a restaurant owner who wanted to stick with a standard menu and did not allow creativity. So the chef and his sous chef, John Leguizamo— along with the chef's 10-year-old-son, who's as cute and smart as can be—start a traveling truck kitchen. The 10-year-old boy markets the food truck through Twitter. All of the characters in the movie are good actors,...

Mexican drama—May 5th is a significant date for Divine Administration too, which has to do with the upstepping of the adjudication of the Bright and Morning Star versus Lucifer.
