It doesn't take a genius to see that this is one of the best special effects movies ever done. But beyond that, there is a message of imperialism and that military might is right. The connect between nature and humanity is a higher message, and one that has to be understood by the materialistic West. The need to get back to nature goes beyond just gardening but that we all need to be a preserver of what's left of the forests and natural environments. On a spiritual and metaphysical basis, ...

Invictus

Drama

I was hesitant to see Invictus because I didn't think that the movie would do justice to the integrity and courage of Nelson Mandela, but I was overjoyed and emotionally affected by the beautiful portrayal of Nelson Mandela by Morgan Freeman, as well as the direction of Clint Eastwood and the writing to bring out the qualities of such a great soul of a Nelson Mandela. Drama

Maybe the movie James Bond made Daniel Craig a star, but Defiance proves he is truly a good actor. This film shows the tragedy of war and the necessity of strong leadership and true Father-circuited men in times of turmoil, when decision-making and leadership is a matter of life and death. Thousands of lives were saved because of this kind of leadership, where a leader has to think in terms of the whole and the lives of many, over misplaced compassion or the concern for one. ...

Drama

I could write a book on this movie. As a matter of fact, I already have. It's called The Divine New Order. But I will just comment on the main theme of the movie, which is about the cowardice and smallness of the husband, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, and the all-too-obedient wife, who probably was the starseed (married to the new-soul husband) who gave up her dreams to be an actress for the sake of her husband, who wanted to become a 9-to-5 guy, buy the home with the ...
