This film is a sleeper film that is excellent for its story. It is the story of a man, Brett, with a troubled past who finally meets a beautiful woman who has the kind of qualities that attract him to her, like handling a fishing boat, and being quite independent driving a truck, and being a straight shooter. She likes his beautiful heart, as she has a sense of knowing good character, plus the fact that she says, "I love your face because it's a face of kindness." They recognize in each other the pain of getting through life and coming out good and loving people on the other end. A part of his un-dealt-with past comes out in judgment of her for having an abortion in the past, which causes the loss of their present baby, and in a dispute, an innocent man was killed by accident when he tries to interfere in their domestic quarrel. Brett goes to prison and stops contact with his wife. Six years later when he gets out, he meets two young people traveling who try to talk him into going back with his wife. Did she wait for him or did she not? See the film; you won't be disappointed, whatever happens at the end! William Hurt, Eddie Redmayne, Maria Bello, Kristin Stewart.
