The Tic Code, directed by Gary Winick and starring Gregory Hines and Polly Draper (who was also the scriptwriter and producer), is a wonderful film about a ten-year-old genius pianist (Christopher Marquette) who has Tourette's Syndrome.  Besides the great jazz music heard throughout this film, the messages are so wonderful that if you take the time while viewing the film to think about the last message you may have to watch the film again to get the next wonderful message.  The film broke racial barriers and also gave hope to all handicapped people.  Although this movie has been out since 1998, it is just presently showing on satellite.  Living in Sedona, because it's not the biggest of cities (thank God), many films come here later or not at all; this is one that I missed in 1998.  I would highly recommend it–but, it's not for the prudish and self-righteous.  Enjoy.
