Drama

I was hesitant to see Invictus because I didn't think that the movie would do justice to the integrity and courage of Nelson Mandela, but I was overjoyed and emotionally affected by the beautiful portrayal of Nelson Mandela by Morgan Freeman, as well as the direction of Clint Eastwood and the writing to bring out the qualities of such a great soul of a Nelson Mandela. If we only had leaders like him in every country: a leader who did the right thing even though the majority thought otherwise, a leader who forgave his enemies and persecutors, who brought desegregation to the majority of the people of his country, and who stands to the people of the world as a Christlike-figure who was resurrected from the prejudice and hatred of lower consciousness. Mandela truly is the captain of his own soul. This movie should bring out the best in every human being who sees it. Matt Damon. PG-13
