United States/Australian/Spanish/United Kingdom/Canadian drama—Based on a true story, Chris Hemsworth plays a sailor from the northeast United States in the early 19th century who goes on a voyage around the bottom of South America, close to the Antarctic and they run into a great Moby-Dick size whale who destroys the ship and most of the men die. He makes it back after being lost on an island for months. In his later life he tells the story to a journalist who then writes the story that we know as Moby Dick. The film has great sea action scenes and good acting. It's well worth watching.
