The chef, played by Jon Favreau, was a lovable character and so were most of the people in the film, except for Dustin Hoffman, who played a restaurant owner who wanted to stick with a standard menu and did not allow creativity. So the chef and his sous chef, John Leguizamo— along with the chef's 10-year-old-son, who's as cute and smart as can be—start a traveling truck kitchen. The 10-year-old boy markets the food truck through Twitter. All of the characters in the movie are good actors, which lends toward the authenticity of the film, even though it's quite humorous, because life can be very humorous, especially when you have a sense of humor. The food will make your mouth water. I highly suggest this film. I don't know why it's rated R, maybe for language (which seems appropriate when used) and there's one scene of Scarlett Johansson dressed a little risqué, but no sex scenes.
