It doesn't take a genius to see that this is one of the best special effects movies ever done. But beyond that, there is a message of imperialism and that military might is right. The connect between nature and humanity is a higher message, and one that has to be understood by the materialistic West. The need to get back to nature goes beyond just gardening but that we all need to be a preserver of what's left of the forests and natural environments. On a spiritual and metaphysical basis, this movie presents the fact that perhaps one soul can walk into another soul, and maybe it has been done in the past on this planet. Perhaps it's done quite often on higher worlds in time and space. The line "I see you" was beautifully stated and made me think about somebody I loved very deeply who never really saw me like I saw her. We all need to really see each other, don't we?
